Accreditation Assistance

Working along with colleagues who are accreditation surveyors, Jim and the team provide affordable assistance to child welfare agencies that wish to pursue accreditation. (The team has years of experience in the CARF-accreditation process.) Services are all encompasing, from an initial review of agency policies and protocols, to designing major plans and ensuring agency compliance with accreditation standards, to preparing for the survey visit. The process can take one to two years, depending on the agency's commitment to the process.

Consultation

Having worked with children and families for two decades Jim is available to provide consultation on a number of topics, from caring for aggressive children and adolescents to designing and providing services for youth in out-of-home care.

Jim provides consultation and technical assistance to child welfare agencies forming continuum of care networks. Assistance is inclusive of helping the network develop wrap around services to assist children (and their family) following a youth's discharge from a residential placement.

Keynote Addresses

Keynote topics are customized towards the needs of the organization requesting these services. Jim provides addresses for a wide array of audiences, from parents and foster parents, to those that provide residential and community-based services.
